Toyota Match Race

Sopot, Poland: The first day of Toyota Sopot Match Race 2008 ISAF Grade 1 is finished. 10 flights have been held today in regular conditions. The actual leaders -Torvar Mirsky (AUS), Steffan Lindberg (FIN), Keith Swinton (AUS)

The first race was between Peter Wibroe, (DEN) and Rafał Sawicki (POL), Wibroe defeated his opponent and scored first point of Toyota Sopot Match Race 2008 ISAF Grade 1. Because every point counts, most matches today were quite close, and some quite contentious. The best example of these would have to be between – Przemek Tarnacki, (POL) and Eric Monnin, (SUI) as well as “fight” between Keith Swinton (AUS) and Torvar Mirsky (AUS) The official opening ceremony of Toyota Match Race 2008 ISAF Grade 1 took place at 8.00 p.m.
